An original tale of a little-known episode in recent American history.
In 1965 Jim Whittaker undertook a trip to the Yukon with Senator Robert Kennedy to climb a remote mountain peak named Mount Kennedy in honour of the late Presi-dent JFK. Fifty years later the children of the members of that unusual team of climbers themselves embarked onan expedition to the same mountain to celebrate the spe-cial connection that had brought them together. With a soundtrack made up of new and unreleased instrumental tracks by Eddie Vedder and including never-seen archival footage and images of the Kennedys, this feature film takes us on a fascinating journey through a landscapeof politics, human rights, environmental activism andmountaineering.
