BASE

Ci sono due tipi di persone che si buttano nel vuoto: ci sono quelle che vogliono morire e quelle che vogliono vivere.
JC (Alexander Polli, deceduto durante la lavora-zione del film) è un B.A.S.E. jumper, un playboyche vive la sua vita letteralmente ai margini, in-seguendo il sogno più grande dell‘uomo: volare. Ma quando un salto finisce male quel sogno co-mincia a sgretolarsi. Spaventato dall‘evento, at-tratto dall‘amante del suo migliore amico, morto nell‘incidente, JC comincia a volare sempre piùbasso, più vicino al suolo, più veloce, registrandoogni istante con la videocamera. Presto l‘oscura discesa di JC minaccia non solo la sua vita, maquella di chi lo circonda. BASE segue un uomo che va oltre il limite e lo guarda cadere.

JC (Alexander Polli who died during the making of the film) is a BASE jumper, a wild man who lives his life qui- te literally on the edge as he pursues the dream of somany: flying. When a jump ends badly this dream begins to crumble. Traumatised by the event, JC also harboursfeelings for the lover of his best friend, who died in thesame incident. He starts to open his parachute closerand closer to the ground, going even faster and recor-ding every instant with a video camera. Soon this perso- nal vortex will threaten his life and the life of those aroundhim. BASE follows a man as he goes over the edge and watches him fall.
