A story of female courage, set in the Alps, in the winter of 1943. A young ski champion, Elisabeth, tries to cross the Franco-Swiss border to deliver a map setting out new paths through which to reach Switzerland. The cold and the falling light leave her with no choice but to spend the night at the Col de Balme refuge, occupied by border guards. Amongst the chaos, Elisabeth tries as best she can to hide her identity.
Caroline Tillette (1988) is a French-Swiss actress. She acted in “Gainsbourg (Vie Héroïque)”, “À La Recherche Du Temps Perdu” and “Le Général Du Roi”. In 2017 she meets Paolo Sorrentino, who directs her in the short film "Killer In Red" and in the two-part film "Loro". “Elisabeth” is his directorial debut.
