A tender and ironic reinterpretation of the cowboy myth and the American dream. Joaquín and Victor, both Patagonian gauchos, are hired as sheep herders on a ranch in the American West. They believe they can understand this foreign land but find it a struggle to adapt as accompanied by their horses and dogs, they work to protect the flocks from predators.
Nicolás Molina is a Chilean director. He directed “Los Castores”, together with Antonio Leuco, winner of the Best Film award at the FIC Valdivia and “Flow”, presented in competition at Sheffield DocFest and DocsBarcelona.
