A primordial and very current parable, from prehistory to a future yet to be written. Luigi Lineri has been working on a massive collection of stones for almost his entire life: his stones are the trace for a collective existential investigation between symbols, art, ecology and technological progress. “La Ricerca” is a story about the human journey and a manifesto of hope for the future.
Giuseppe Petruzzellis (1983) is a screenwriter, producer and editor, who has collaborated in the making of over 70 films. In 2007 he founded APLYSIA, a film production specializing in creative documentaries. “La Ricerca” is his first feature film, Special Prize of the Youth Jury at Visions du Réel 2023.
