Edmund Hillary the first man to climb Everest, still grieving from the death of his wife and daughter in a plane crash, undertakes his greatest adventure yet – he is to travel the entire length of the Indian Ganges River by jet boat. Will this daring enterprise cost him his life or help him begin to heal from his tragic loss?
Michael Dillon was born in Australia in 1945 and in the span of his 50-year career he has mainly directed films about exploration or mountains. He has directed 6 multi award-winning documentaries together with Sir Edmund Hillary and has worked with the climber together on other projects such as “Everest - Sea to Summit”(1992),which took 8 Grand Prix awards worldwide at various mountain film festivals.
