ÉRASE UNA VEZ EN QUIZCA
Official Selection - Festival dei Popoli, Florence
An Argentine fable which recounts the fleetingness of life in twelve intense minutes of pure cinema. From a small town among the mountains, the voice of an old peasant emerges to bring forth a buried memory: the lonely death of one of his closest friends. Because, "if someone dies and no one witnesses it, has someone really died?”
Nicolás Torchinsky (1984) studied film direction at Universidad del Cine (FUC). In 2012, his first short film “Simulacro” (Simulacrum) was screened at numerous international festivals. His first feature film, “La nostalgia del centauro” was part of the line up at Visions du Réel and DOK Leipzig.
