PLAI: A MOUNTAIN PATH
Official Selection, Sheffield DocFest
The incredible resilience of a couple in the face of the consequences of war. Married for over 30 years, Hannusia and Dmytro live in the shadow of the Carpathian Mountains. Time in this remote, rural world passes slowly. But the couple face a new challenge when Dmytro, having fought in East Ukraine, returns home with only one leg. Only the children of the family bluntly ask the questions that adults feel too tired to even reflect on: if there is a God, why did he create war? which man could do it?
