SARABANDE AT THE EDGE OF THE SKY
Gian Luca Rossi and Luca Bich (Italy, 2022, 28’)
Under the gaze of the majestic Monte Cervino, two gifted people from very different backgrounds take part in a memorable encounter, springing from their shared love of natural beauty and mountains. The musician Mario Brunello and the mountain climber Nives Meroi commit to an extraordinary project: bringing one of the pearls of Bach’s music, Sarabande from Suite n.6, to the very heart of the Alps.
Gian Luca Rossi, graduated in film direction from ESEC in Paris, he has directed films, tv programmes and theatrical productions.
Luca Bich has a degree in film documentary from Bologna University DAMS, he is a director and producer. The two co-directors of Cervino CineMountain and are jointly responsible for film selection.
