3 friends and an unclimbed summit at 6850m in Karakoram. In June 2022, Jerome Sullivan, Christophe Ogier and Victor Saucède traveled to Pakistan's remote Hispar Glacier to attempt the first ascent of Pumari Chhish East (6850m). They succeeded, via a new route they called The Crystal Ship (M7, 6b, A2, 1600m), after 5 days on the wall.
Oliviero Gobbi is CEO of Grivel, a leading company in technical mountaineering equipment. The creation of video content is now an integral part of the company's marketing and it is an area in which Oliviero intervenes continuously. “The Crystal Ship” (2023) is the first film he directed. Oliviero Gobbi is also a passionate mountaineer and climber, who tries to experience the mountains at 360 degrees.
