THE NOIRE, CLIMBING IN THE SHADOW OF MONT BLANC

The feat of three young Aosta Valley mountaineers on the Mont Blanc massif. The film recounts the first ascent of Couloir Isaïe (M8 - 7a/7a+ - AI5, 600m), on the West Face of Aiguille Noire du Peuterey by François Cazzanelli, Emrik Favre and Stefano "Teto" Stradelli, on 12 and 13 February 2023 Their adventure is also an opportunity to reflect on the evolution of contemporary mountaineering and on the younger generations.
Charley Radcliffe is a producer and filmmaker based in Chamonix. He has worked with outdoor athletes in iconic mountain locations, producing “Hielo in Patagonia” and directing “A Skier's Way” in Valle d'Aosta. His goal is to capture real emotions in these beautiful and dangerous places.
