TWO HEADED MOUNTAIN

Jacopo Marzi (Italy, 2022, 7')
Official Selection - Trento Film Festival
Official Selection - CinemAmbiente (Turin)

How was the pandemic experienced on both sides of the Matterhorn? Breuil-Cervinia and Zermatt are divided by mountains, but they have always been connected by winter sports enthusiasts and professionals. The pandemic broke this balance. In Switzerland, the new rules have not prevented people from experiencing the mountains. In Italy, the total closure wiped out tourism and created a melancholy landscape.

Jacopo Marzi is a director based in Milan, in 2021 he directed two documentary shorts: one with National Geographic and the other one with WeWorld onlus and Canon. His first feature film, “Hymn From the Hive” premiered at the Astra Film Festival in 2021. His films have been shortlisted at renowned festivals such as ZagrebDox and Trento Film Festival.
