A delightful portrait of a hermit and creator of beauty. Isravele is an illiterate manual labourer who has lived the last 20 years in complete solitude on a mountain top, far from the chaotic city of Palermo so lacking in spirituality. He has abandoned his family to dedicate his life to God and to building a temple there, on the ruins of an old observatory. But a shopping mall has recently opened at the foot of the mountain and threatens to disturb his peace.
