Where does the limit lie between domestic and wild, between known and unknown? As winter ends, the hermit Flaminio, dressed in skins and fleeces, prepares for the arrival of springtime. With his horn he summons the inhabitants of Ardesia (Val Seriana), to gather for the Scasada dol Zenerù (Banishment of January), a theatrical endeavour that re-enacts all the fears and tensions that the community have experienced during the year.
