La testarda determinazione di Alfredo Webber: un cinquantenne da 9a
Cresciuto tra Castel Thun e i boschi delle Dolo- miti, Alfredo ha un legame molto speciale con la sua terra: la sua professione lo tiene al lavoro incava tutta la settimana e quando ha un po’ di tem- po libero fa la legna per la casa, si occupa dei suoi due asini, lavora il ferro. Alfredo ha anche una passione speciale che gli ha cambiato la vita:l’arrampicata. Oggi, a quasi 50 anni, ha realizzatouna prestazione sportiva di livello assoluto che loha portato all’attenzione della stampa specializza- ta. Motivazione e volontà sono gli strumenti con i quali ha realizzato questo sogno, nonostante ledifficoltà che negli anni lo hanno costretto ad in- terrompere la sua attività di arrampicatore.

The stubborn determination of Alfredo Webber:

Alfredo grew up in an area between the forests of theDolomites and Castel Thun and has a close bond withhis native land: he works at a stone quarry during the week and in his spare time chops firewood, looks after his two donkeys and works iron in the forge. Alfredo also nurtures a lifechanging passion: rock climbing. Recently just short of 50 he undertook a top-level climbing chal- lenge that brought him to the attention of the media andclimbing fanatics. Sheer motivation and willpower helped him to fulfil his ambition in spite of the many difficultiesthat arose over the years to interfere with his love of thissport.

Pietro Bagnara

Figlio del drammaturgo Mario Bagnara, inizia a praticarel’arrampicata negli anni ’80, attività che lo porta a viag-giare e scalare nel mondo. Alla fine del 2012 con Klaus Dell‘Orto crea l‘etichetta OpenCircle per la produzione vi- deo legata soprattutto ad ambienti di montagna e attività outdoor estreme.

Pietro is the son of playwright Mario Bagnara, towards the end of the 80s he began rock climbing and travelled widely in pursuit of new climbing experiences. At the clo-se of 2012 he got together with Klaus Dell’Orto to esta- blish a production company under the name OpenCircle specialising in video coverage of high-altitude and extre-me outdoor sports.
