Fuggito dalla società per una vita da eremita sulle montagne norvegesi, il sessantenne Nils condivide, attraverso lo smartphone, la sua vita da sogno. Raggiungere un equilibrio fra il desiderio di comunione con la natura e il bisogno di restare in contatto col mondo esterno non sarà affatto semplice.

Joost van der Wiel(1983) ha diretto diversi cortometraggi, fra cui il pluripremiato “The Shepherd” (2016), su un medico di base novantenne.

Having fled society to take up the life of a her- mit deep in the mountains of Norway, Nils who is in his sixties, shares his long dreamed of experience with others via his smartphone. He soon discovers that striking a balance between communing with nature and keeping in touch with the outside world is not all that easy.

Joost van der Wiel (1983) has directed various short films among which the multi-award winning The Shepherd (2016) which examined at the life of a practising family doctor in his nineties.
