Un filo teso tra la macchina e il vuoto, tra il battipista e il pendio, tra Guillaume e i suoi pensieri. Ogni notte, in inverno, Guillaume percor- re montagne e piste da sci per cancellare le tracce del passaggio degli sciatori. Solo nella cabina, è un tutt’uno con il suo mezzo, in un delicato equilibro composto da incessanti andirivieni.
There is a cable suspended between the machine and the void, between the snow-groomer and the slope, between Guillaume and his thoughts. Every winter night, Guillaume crosses the ski-runs and the mountain to repack the snow. Alone in his cabin, he is at one with his machine in a bal- ance composed of ceaselessly repeated comings and goings….
Dopo anni di lavoro come giornalista radiotelevisiva, Eva Tourrent si dedica dal 2006 al cinema e consegue il Master in regia del documentario a Lussas. Ha 35 anni e vive a Mar- siglia. Il suo primo film è “Tant qu’ils restent”. “Suspendu à la Nuit” è stato presentato a Visions du Réel a Nyon, Les Ecrans Documentaires di Arcueil (Best film Award), Go Short di Nijmegen, Trento Film Festival.
After working for years as TV and radio journalist, from 2006 Eva Tourrent devotes her- self to cinema and obtains a Master degree in Documentary Filmmaking in Lussas. She’s 35 and lives in Marseille. Her first film is “Tant qu’ils restent”. “Suspendu à la nuit” has been selected in Visions du Réel in Nyon, Les Ecrans Documentaires in Arcueil (Best film Award), Go Short in Nijmegen, Trento Film Festival.
